Season Pass holders will receive FREE Admission to special concerts by Sophia Carson with Jacob Whitesides, Forever In Your Mind, and R5. These concerts are produced by Darien Lake*, tailor fit for the season pass family audience and offer all Park Guests the ability to come and go between the theme park and the Amphitheater as they enjoy the day. All concerts will start at 6pm!
Jacob Whitesides is the only artist to be chosen as MTV's "Artist to Watch," Radio Disney's "Next Big Thing," Pandora's "Artist to Watch," and Spotify's "Artist to Watch" for 2016, all concurrently. He released his debut album, “Why?” in September, while completing his “Lovesick” tour.
Sofia Carson is a multi-hyphenate force who has already earned a #1 album, with the chart-topping debut of the Descendants soundtrack. She also starred in the film and has appeared onscreen in “Adventures in Babysitting” and “A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits.” The budding talent received her first Teen Choice Award nomination last year for “Choice Music: Next Big Thing,” and released her second single, “Back to Beautiful,” in January.
The L.A.-based trio has had a big head start, having toured North America on the 2015 DigiTour alongside Demi Lovato. Fans know Ricky Garcia from his starring role on the Disney Channel Original Series “Best Friends Whenever,” and Emery Kelly from his co-starring roles on Disney Channel shows such as “Dog With a Blog” and “Lab Rats.” With the release of their self-titled debut Hollywood Records EP, FIYM is about to light up the pop music universe, thanks to their sophisticated artistry, high-kilowatt on-stage energy and positive message.
R5 is made up of siblings Riker Lynch, Rocky Lynch, Ross Lynch, Rydel Lynch,and family friend Ellington Ratliffself released the EP “Ready Set Rock” in early 2010. Meanwhile, Riker and Ross each found success as actors, with Riker taking a role on “Glee” and Ross starring in “Austin & Ally” and in the 2013 Disney Channel original “Teen Beach Movie.” After signing a deal with Hollywood Records in April 2012, R5 put out their EP Loud the next February and their full-length debut Louder in September 2013. They released their second album “Sometime Last Night,” in 2015, a selection of arena-sized pop songs shot through with gorgeously crafted melodies, electrifying harmonies, and lyrics culled from real-life stories the band’s been through over the past few years.
